Day 01
Coonoor & Ooty sightseeing
Reach Coonoor by morning. 📍 Dolphin Nose – Witness the picturesque view of the mountains and the lush green tea estates from here. You can overlook the 180-degree view of the surrounding scenery. 📍 Katherine Waterfalls (outer view from Dolphin Nose) – A breathtaking view of the graceful Catherine Falls from Dolphin Nose. 📍 Tea Plantation Visit – Walk around, take photographs or just drool at the breathtaking tea plantation views. Check in to the homestay/hotel. 📍 Ooty Lake / Boat House – Nestled in the serene hills, Ooty Lake beckons with its tranquil water, offering boat rides and many other activities amidst breathtaking landscapes. 📍 Tea Factory – Explore tea processing, know about the tea culture, enjoy tea tasting and shop at the factory outlet. 📍 Chocolate Factory – Experience the art of chocolate-making firsthand and buy an extensive range of homemade chocolates in countless delightful flavours. Return to the homestay/hotel. Self-sponsored dinner and retire for the day.
Day 02
Toy train, pine forest & Pykara
Wake up, freshen up, have a self-sponsored breakfast, check out, and get ready for the new adventure. Start by 6 AM. 📍 Ooty Toy Train – This toy train offers scenic views of the Nilgiri mountains throughout the journey (subject to ticket availability). 📍 Pine Forest and Lake – Known for its tall pine trees and Lake Sandynulla. 📍 9th Mile Shooting Point – One of the most spectacular tourist spots in Ooty, seen in many Indian movies like Deewana, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Raja Hindustani and others. 📍 Pykara Waterfalls – A scenic waterfall near Ooty formed by the Pykara River. Surrounded by lush forests and hills, it is known for its milky-white cascading water, especially beautiful during the monsoon. A popular picnic and photo spot. Start the journey back around 5 PM. Reach Bangalore around 11:30 PM – 2 AM and end this amazing adventure with memories to cherish forever.
